Lacy Jewellery Studio is a workshop and retail space selling high quality fine gold and silver jewellery, Danish Design Watches and also offering a custom design and manufacturing service.

Philip and Danielle Lacy opened the doors to Lacy Jewellery Studio in 2004. At the time, the young couple were returning to their roots in the area, having spent early childhood years in Fish Creek and Meeniyan respectively.  The decision to open a boutique style jewellery store in the rural township of Meeniyan was surprising for many, however from humble beginnings the high quality store has grown to become a popular South Gippsland destination, drawing customers from Melbourne, interstate and overseas.

Philip Lacy is a qualified jeweller who trained for 4 years in Batemans Bay, NSW under the guidance of master jeweller Jan Plocki and studied at the Sydney Institute of Technology graduating in 1993.

​Philip's fascination with jewellery began with his father, an amateur geologist, who always nurtured an interest in rocks and gemstones. With his family, Philip spent much of his childhood exploring the opal fields of Lightening Ridge where his family had a claim, and fossicking for gemstones on family holidays around Australia.

​After completing his trade qualifications, Philip worked from his family home in Batemans Bay, where he did contract work for jewellery stores and galleries in NSW. Philip then moved to Melbourne where he worked for an exclusive Melbourne jewellery store. It was during this time that Philip and Danielle reconnected after being childhood friends, and in 2001 married. After 18 months living, travelling and working in Milan, Italy and the UK, Philip and Danielle returned to their home district of South Gippsland. Inspired by boutique style stores they had experienced in Europe, the young couple set up Lacy Jewellery Studio.

Philip and Danielle reside in Meeniyan and along with their four children enjoy the relaxed country lifestyle and surrounding natural beauty.
